According to the results of the exhibition-addition #Vempokotika, which was held on April 3 at the Artplay Design Center, 33 cats found owners. Also, as part of the “Bag of Kindness” charity event, it was possible to collect about 500 kilograms of food and things for dogs and cats from shelters.
Of these, 265 kilograms of dry food, 79 kilograms of pastes, 23 kilograms of cereals, 30 packs of diapers, five bags of treats, toys and ammunition, five bags of medicines and one bag of household goods. This was told by the organizers of the “Gift of Fate” fund.
Visitors to the exhibition were also able to learn about the formats of helping animals, receive gifts and free consultations from felinologists. The curators told the future owners about the behavior and health of their wards, each of which is healthy, vaccinated and treated for parasites. Among the guests of the exhibition was the 2022 Olympic figure skating champion Anna Shcherbakova, who actively supports homeless animals. In 2021, Artplay opened the first charity pop-up space in Moscow for cats from shelters looking for a home. The cat room is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
