This is Maruška, who was spotted by a volunteer of the Jupiter-Ruma Animal Protection Association on Rume Street this summer. She was still a kitten . Her leg was not in good condition. She tried to catch her, but she ran away from her, even injured. Despite the injury, she was fast. After that, she didn’t see her again for months. She thought she had died. That she couldn’t survive on the street.
Then one Dragana posted, which was followed by a search for her. They finally found her and took her to the vet. According to the volunteers, they found out that she was born like that, that it belonged to the owner and that the owners had moved away, and she did not want to go with them, that she had returned to the old location, and they let her manage like that on her own .
At the veterinary clinic, they were told that she suffered pain in her leg all the time, that she had been living with it for months. Every awkward movement hurt terribly.
After the rescue, her leg had to be amputated , she was undergoing therapy and the most important thing was that she was no longer in pain. She was tired of fighting and surviving. They immediately saw how much he loves human company and petting. Despite everything she went through, she remained gentle and lovable.
They advertised her for adoption , however, in the end she stayed with her rescuer. She greeted everyone from her home , i.e. from the room of the volunteer association.
Marushka is now a safe and healthy kitty, and that’s the most important thing of all.
