Some animals take their cuteness to another level. This mother cat had the touching initiative of taking some of her kittens to her owner’s baby to meet him; moving the owners of it and everyone on the Internet.
Pearl, 24, is an engineer living in Fort Worth, Texas. She is the mother of Blossom, a one-year-old baby, and owner of a silky- haired white cat named Summer.
Summer is a lynx-spotted ragdoll who, like Pearl, has kitten babies, so the two are sharing the moment of being mothers.
One day, Pearl saw that Summer took one of her kittens and went to her little Blossom to introduce it to her. So Ella Pearl immediately pulled out her phone and captured the moment in moving video.
“Summer was upstairs in the room with her kittens ,” Pearl told The Epoch Times . “That day, I left the door to the kitty room open and Summer jumped out of the pen with one of her babies, carrying it up a flight of stairs and straight into Blossom.”
“I heard her coming down the stairs and that was what prompted me to start recording. I was a little sorry the kitten couldn’t stay down there, but they weren’t litter trained at the time.”
“I thought it was so cute and sweet that Summer wanted to show my baby her kitty.”
viral reaction
Pearl has a TikTok channel titled Pearl’s Ragdolls where she shares videos of her Ragdoll cats, the video of her little girl Blossom with Summer’s baby was viewed nearly 17 million times on TikTok and has 142,558 views on Youtube.
“The response was very positive after the video was released,” he said.
One netizen commented, “I wish more humans could be as loving as this cat.” Another wrote: “[It’s] the sweetest thing in the world .”
“ That’s so adorable, mommy cat must love it ️ Blossom a ton,” reads another comment.
But it wasn’t the only time Summer tried to introduce her kittens to Blossom, Pearl said. “It happened a few other times, if she happened to leave the door open again.”
“Summer is a cheeky but loving mom. She likes things done her way. I think she got a little upset when I kept taking her babies to the kitty room.”
a lovely company
Ragdolls, one of the domestic cat breeds, are very docile and love to spend time with their owners. Also, they are known to be very friendly and affectionate.
Summer has been with Pearl since 14 weeks, currently 3 years old, and got pregnant right after Blossom was born.
“It’s really amazing the bond that pets can create with babies,” Pearl said.
Don’t forget to value those moments before they grow up. Now my baby Blossom has just turned one and all of Summer’s babies have gone to their new forever homes. Time goes by really fast.”
