A Remarkable Korean Woman: Rescuing and Nurturing 100 Helpless Dogs

Jung Myoung Sook, a 61-year-old woman from South Korea, has dedicated the past 26 years of her life to rescuing dogs. Through her unwavering commitment, she has managed to save and provide care for more than 100 puppies

Sook goes above and beyond, despite his limited resources, to not only take care of stray dogs but also rescue dogs intended for sale in restaurants.

Despite being labeled by some as a "beggar-like middle-aged woman," Sook, in an interview with the Associated Press, shared that her children are well-fed, allowed to play, and live freely. She remains unwavering in her determination to provide for her children and is content and in good health.

Due to her kind and loving nature, many people have come forward to assist Sook. However, she has faced the unfortunate circumstance of having to move seven times as a result of noise complaints from her neighbors.

While the older generation in South Korea is known to consume dogs as part of their cuisine, there is a growing trend among younger generations to keep pets as companions.
