A puppy aged three months old showed its deep bond and loyalty to its sibling who was killed by a car as it refused to leave her side. The heartbroken pup stayed beside the female puppy for two consecutive days until a compassionate individual stepped up to bury her.
According to reports from witnesses in Pixian County, which is located in Sichuan Province in southwest China, two dogs, one grey and one brown, were spotted lying in the middle of the road.
For several days on end, a brown puppy heroically protected a grey pup from getting harmed by passing vehicles. Whenever a car approached, the little dog would jump up and bark fiercely to keep them at bay. Their loyal stance continued until a kind person rescued them from their perilous location at the side of the road.
Subsequently, a bystander proceeded to excavate a pit for the deceased grey canine. However, its companion was so attached that it also jumped into the hole and declined to depart.
At last, the employees of a neighboring animal protection shelter were able to recover the brown dog and are currently providing it with proper care.
