On February 24th, the world was shocked to hear of the full-scale war that broke out between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. As the conflict raged on, innocent lives were affected, including those of our beloved furry friends.
Many families had to leave their homes and, unfortunately, their pets behind. As a result, stray dogs roamed the streets, searching for food and shelter. Amidst the chaos, one street dog stood out, as she grabbed my hand, and her eyes begged for help.
I couldn’t pass her by. I knew I had to do something. My heart broke at the sight of her, a helpless animal in the midst of a warzone. I took her in, fed her, and gave her a place to sleep. I couldn’t bear to leave her on the streets, alone and afraid.
The situation in Ukraine is dire, and we need all the prayers and support we can get. As we continue to feed stray dogs and rescue as many animals as we can, we ask for your prayers for the safety of our furry friends and for our country as a whole.
In these difficult times, it’s important to remember that animals are also affected by conflict. They, too, need our love and support. Let’s come together and do what we can to make a difference in their lives.
