As a result of its injury on the street, the cat experienced intense fear and began to avoid close contact with humans.!!

When we first saw Lovebug, we could hardly believe our eyes. She had suffered a traumatic face wound that had cut off her nose, leaving only two tiny holes for air to enter. She was in a state of shock, but she surrendered to us, giving us permission to try to save her life.

Saving Lovebug was not going to be easy. Her pain and fear were so intense that she refused to eat. We treated her for pain, cleaned and flushed her wounds, and removed maggots from another painful wound on her paw. But even with our care, she still refused to eat.

On Day 1, we were hopeful that she would eventually eat. By Day 2, we were growing anxious, but still, no food tempted her. By Day 3, she continued to refuse food, and we were beginning to despair. But we could see that she was still too active to be able to feed her through an IV line, which made things even more difficult.

But on Day 4, something miraculous happened. Lovebug finally began to eat! It was a small victory, but it gave us hope that she would make a full recovery.

Over the next few weeks, Lovebug continued to heal. Her wounds slowly closed, and she began to eat more and more each day. Her fear and pain subsided, and she became more and more loving and affectionate with each passing day.

We were overjoyed to see Lovebug’s progress, and we knew that she deserved the best possible home. So we reached out to our network of animal lovers and found the perfect family for her. They fell in love with her immediately and provided her with the love and care she needed to thrive.

Lovebug’s story is a testament to the power of love, hope, and perseverance. Despite the many challenges she faced, she refused to give up. She fought with everything she had to survive and to find a loving home. And we were proud to be a part of her journey.
