Firefighters had to erect a ladder to rescue a dog, while a cat safely jumped down. The incident occurred when Sharon Thurston was walking her 2-year-old German Shepherd sheepdog, Baby, in California, USA, as reported by Fox 5 yesterday. Baby ran off while Thurston wasn’t paying attention. Upon hearing barking, she realized that the dog was in trouble.
Baby had chased a cat up a tree, standing at a height of about 7.6 meters, unable to climb down by itself. “I was really scared. Baby is like my child and everything to me. When I looked up, I was afraid it would fall,” Thurston shared.
She asked her neighbors for help and someone suggested calling the fire department. The firefighters were extremely surprised. “That’s not a call you get every day,” firefighter Marty Ortiz said.
A member of the rescue team confirmed that both the dog and the cat were fine. The cat ran away. And Baby returned in the joy of the mistress. Hearing the name Baby is cute and lovely, but the naughty level of this dog really makes the owner head. This successful boss rescue phase must have cost the lotus a good amount of money already.
