Discovering that you're expecting a baby is an incredibly precious and blessed moment. Finding out that you're carrying triplets - now that comes as a shock to most mothers. So when doctors told 23-year-old Becki-Jo Allen from Liverpool, England, that she had three children in her belly, she was absolutely stunned.

But the surprise didn't end there. When Becki-Jo gave birth, she received another massive surprise - one that no one was prepared for, not even the doctors. It turns out that her three babies were incredibly rare: they were identical triplets. The chances of this happening? One in 200 million.

Four years ago, Becki-Jo Allen and Liam Tierney had some good news to share with their daughter, Indiana. She was going to be a big sister.

The couple, who live just outside of Liverpool, England, had been thinking about having more children, but they didn't know how many more they'd have until they saw Becki-Jo's ultrasound.

Miss Allen, hailing from Gateacre, Liverpool, was already a mother to three-year-old Indiana when she experienced severe headaches and nausea, prompting her to undergo an early scan at nine weeks into her pregnancy. Little did she know that the life-altering news of expecting triplets awaited her.

"It was the biggest shock of my life! We haven't had any triplets in the family, so it came completely out of the blue," Becki-Jo shared with the Liverpool Echo, still in awe of the surprising revelation.

The triplets entered the world prematurely at 31 weeks. Rocco weighed 3lbs 5oz, Roman weighed 3lbs 6oz, and Rohan weighed 3lbs 10oz. Pregnancy with triplets typically involves significant complications, and it is uncommon for all three babies to survive.

Fortunately, all three boys showed resilience and steadily gained weight. After spending a month and a half in the hospital, these little fighters were deemed ready to return home, bringing immense joy and relief to their family.

They are among the youngest of what is believed to be only a few naturally conceived sets of identical triplets in the UK.

"I was surprised because I expected them to be non-identical," she expressed. "But then I'm normally the only one who can tell them apart, so that does explain a lot!"

Luckily for their 23-year-old mother, distinctive features and emerging personalities of the ten-month-old triplets make it easy for her to distinguish them.

"When they were newborns, it was quite challenging to tell which one was which, but I never got them mixed up myself," she explained.

"They all have dark birthmarks between their eyebrows, but Roman's is slightly darker than the others, and Rohan has an additional birthmark on his leg."

"While they were in the hospital, the doctors stated they were non-identical, but since they came home, many people have expressed difficulty in telling them apart."

The occurrence of an egg splitting in two, and then one of those cells splitting again during the early stages of pregnancy, is incredibly rare. Such a phenomenon is why, for instance, in America in 2015, only four sets of identical triplets were born.

Roman, Rocco, and Rohan may appear incredibly similar at first glance, but Becki-Jo has no difficulty in telling her sons apart.

"It's only when they're asleep that they look the same to me. However, they each possess completely distinct personalities. Additionally, they all have dark birthmarks between their eyebrows, but Roman's birthmark is slightly darker than the others. Furthermore, Rohan has an additional birthmark on his leg," Becki-Jo explained.

The triplets go through approximately 130 diapers per week, not to mention five packages of wipes per week. It's clear that these little guys keep their parents incredibly busy.

10-year-old Indiana appears to be genuinely happy and content with her unique brothers. She takes on the role of a proud big sister without a hint of jealousy.

"Indiana loves them. She's not one bit jealous. Although, I do feel a bit sorry for her when I think about what it's going to be like growing up with three little brothers!" Becki-Jo shared.

Undoubtedly, these boys are bound to attract a lot of attention for a while, and rightfully so, as they are an incredibly adorable bunch. They deserve all the love and adoration they receive!
