After sharing a video online in which she cradled her seven-month-old twin babies, a new mother, Alexis LaRue, recounted the unexpected reactions she garnered. The video aimed to showcase her twins, who currently weigh 9.5 kilograms, and it resulted in a surprising response from viewers.

Originally from Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota, Alexis stood at a height of 5 feet 3 inches and weighed 49 kg before her pregnancy. By the time she reached 38 weeks of pregnancy, she had gained a total of 82 kg in weight. In March, she gave birth to twins, both weighing around 2.9 kg each. Remarkably, within a mere seven months, the twins' initial birth weight has now tripled.

Doubts arose among certain individuals regarding the authenticity of the video. Addressing these concerns, the mother acknowledged that certain camera angles can indeed amplify the babies' size. She elaborated, "Their interest in exploring different foods appears genuine. Whenever I have a meal, their expectant gaze seems to anticipate sharing a portion," as reported by Alexis in a statement to the Mirror.

The viral TikTok video features a mother whose petite stature is in stark contrast to her twin babies, who are already consuming 177 ml of newborn formula every two hours. Despite their recent introduction to solid foods, the video has gained widespread attention.
