Cheddar, the older canine, takes the initiative to grab his leash and head out for a stroll to visit his neighbor Jean, signaling his desire for a walk to his humans.
For eight years, Cheddar the Golden Retriever enjoyed a typical dog’s existence. He was raised by a loving family who doted on him and treated him like royalty.
Cheddar’s life took a drastic turn when one of his owners was diagnosed with cancer. The family had to prioritize the necessary care for their loved one, which left them with little time and resources to give Cheddar the attention he deserved. As a result, they had to find him a new home through adoption.
It wouldn’t be too long before he discovered his new permanent abode.
As soon as Cheddar set foot in his new abode, he sensed something peculiar while strolling around the vicinity.
While greeting their elderly neighbor, the couple’s pet Golden Retriever named Cheddar developed an instant connection with the woman named Jean. Their friendship bloomed and became inseparable over time. Cheddar would insist on meeting her every day and would throw a tantrum when unable to do so. In fact, he would grab his leash and signal his owners to go for a walk just to visit Jean.
When Cheddar and Jean go for a walk, the dog always pulls towards Jean’s house if they go in a different direction. It’s unclear why, but their connection is undeniable. Love doesn’t require an explanation, and you can see their bond in the video below.
