In the early hours of May 29th, Haaland receives the Premier League Golden Boot award for the 2022/23 season.

Haaland excels in his debut season in England, showcasing remarkable performance.

In the away game against Brentford, Erling Haaland did not need to play. He only entered the field after the match concluded to receive the Premier League Golden Boot award for the 2022/23 season.

Haaland finished the 38 rounds with 36 goals, comfortably surpassing the second-placed Harry Kane (30 goals). The player in third place on the list was Ivan Toney (20 goals). Only 7 out of Haaland's 36 goals were scored from penalty kicks.

Prior to this, Haaland made history as the first player to win three individual awards in his debut season in the Premier League, including the Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season presented by the Premier League, and the Football Writers' Association (FWA) Player of the Year.

"I'm really proud to achieve this feat. I want to thank my family, fans, teammates, and all the staff at Man City," Haaland shared.

Haaland scored a total of 52 goals across all competitions, breaking the previous record held by Mohamed Salah (2017/18) and Ruud van Nistelrooy (2002/03), both with 44 goals.

He also became the player with the most goals in a single season at Man City, surpassing Tommy Johnson's record of 38 goals in the 1928/29 season.

In the Champions League, Haaland also became the youngest player to reach the milestone of 30 goals. In the 7-0 victory over RB Leipzig in the round of 16 on March 15, the former Dortmund star scored 5 goals.

On the day Haaland did not play, Man City suffered a 0-1 defeat to Brentford, ending their unbeaten run of 25 matches across all competitions.
