What did Harry Kane say at the official press conference on as a rookie Bayern Munich?

Harry Kane has  debuted Bayern Munich  since August 12, even participating in the German Super Cup just a few hours later (Bayern lost to RB Leipzig 0-3). However, it was not until today that the 30-year-old striker attended the official press conference as a rookie of the Bundesliga champion.

Harry Kane played his first match for Bayern (German Super Cup, 0-3 loss to Leipzig) just hours after debuting the Bundesliga champions

According to Harry Kane, he has had a busy week due to transfer rumors about himself: "I've had a busy week.  This is the first transfer I've been involved in and it's also a experience full of ups and downs. Either way, I'm happy to be here. Wishing Tottenham and Chairman Daniel Levy all the best."

Talking about the reason for joining Bayern, Harry Kane said: "I've spent my entire career and life in England, so I still  need adapt  to a new league, new opponents. Everyone is looking forward to it. Bayern win the Bundesliga every year but the other teams are improving and ready to challenge Bayern

I've always wanted to push my limits and see how far that could take me. I want to fight for the Champions League and trophies. I never wanted to end my career and regret not experiencing different leagues and cultures.

Coach Tuchel played an important role in this transfer. Both sides "make the best decision for me and my family".

Besides, the England captain admitted that he had not had the opportunity to say goodbye to his former teammates at Tottenham because of the rush of time: "Farewell to Tottenham is a difficult decision because the club is always in my heart. However, I want to win the title and feel this is the right time.

People will talk about  Shearer and the Premier League scoring record but my career is long. Right now I just want to focus on the task of helping Bayern Munich succeed.

I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to my old Tottenham teammates. For sure in the next few weeks, I will come back whenever I get the chance and say goodbye to everyone properly."

Harry Kane also admitted, "I was under great pressure when Bayern Munich decided to spend up to £ 100 million to recruit him. Therefore, the 30-year-old striker wants to play well to repay the trust of the team's leadership:

"100 million pounds is a huge amount. I don't really have time to consider how things are going back home, but I feel it's my responsibility to do what it's worth. Bayern said spend money on recruiting me to achieve great goals and I are on the same path as them.

My goal is to try to win every title this season. If we end the season without a trophy, the club will be very disappointed."
