Just introduced to Arsenal, Havertz has caused a "storm on the internet."

In a recent friendly match against Nurnberg, Arsenal's new signing Kai Havertz made his debut under coach Mikel Arteta. He didn't make much of an impact in his first appearance for the Gunners but still managed to attract attention on social media.

Having moved from Chelsea to Arsenal for a transfer fee of £65 million, Havertz was expected to significantly boost Arsenal's strength. However, in the showdown between Arsenal and Nurnberg, the former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder had a rather subdued performance. He struggled to integrate into the new team and failed to put pressure on the opposing defense.

Commenting on Havertz's display after he came on as a substitute for Nelson at the start of the second half, one Twitter account sarcastically remarked, "Look at Havertz playing there. This is a €70 million player."

Another account expressed their opinion, saying, "Watching Havertz play, I now understand why he no longer stands among Chelsea's ranks. Thanks to Arsenal for helping Chelsea offload Havertz."

Echoing the sentiment, another Chelsea fan posted a status that deeply affected Havertz, saying, "Even when not playing for Chelsea, the team in my heart, Havertz still manages to cause discomfort. I don't understand how Havertz plays so poorly yet Arsenal signed him."

Meanwhile, another account pinpointed Havertz's issue, stating, "Pay attention to Havertz's positioning inside the penalty box. He works too rigidly and lacks creativity, making it easy for the opponents to shut him down."
