Jack has spina bifida , which affects his motor skills so he has to constantly wear diapers to avoid accidents.
Due to his condition, he is not the puppy with the most potential to attract the attention of adopters. Recently, however, he has reason to believe his story will take a different turn .
They helped him to his feet when he thought he had found the right person.
A potential adopter approached the shelter to set up a meeting so he could get to know the puppy better.
His caregivers agreed on a time and place, unfortunately, on the date that person never showed up, much to Jack’s heartache. The rescue team commented on this:
“He took a shower, put on his favorite harness, changed his diaper and a dedicated care team drove 40 minutes to end up in great disappointment . Jack was very sad. “
In the face of great disappointment, the adorable pup can’t help but feel rejected , he needs encouragement, but most of all, love. Someone very close to the rescue team discovered the terrible situation Jack was going through and gave him a new toy.
The puppy thanked the gesture without knowing that it would be the first of many gifts he would receive after his story went viral .
