Lotus, a 6-year-old mainie cat, has lived with his family in Jämtland, Sweden, since he was four months old. His abundant fur, white with golden hues, is reminiscent of a majestic lion , especially because of the mane that frames his face.
For this reason its name is very appropriate since it comes from joining “Lo”, which means “lynx” in Swedish, and “tus” which means “lock of hair”.
Unlike the lions or lynxes to which it resembles, Lotus has a meek and sweet character.
“He is sociable and kind to everyone, whether they are animals or humans. He came into my life at a very important moment and from there, our bond has grown”, Lindstein, his owner. It means everything to me ,” she told The Epoch Times . His owners adore him and give him all the attention he needs, such as a diet rock in vitamins and minerals.
However, despite enjoying domestic life with his owners, he still retains his adventurous spirit! In the photos of him you can see him in the forest, in the river, and he even dares to walk through the snow!
His family even takes him for walks in a dog harness. Safe, its huge legs protected with a dense fur allow it to enter any terrain without any risk.
