Maxi is a friendly little lad, he loves cuddles and, despite his troubled past, he miraculously trusts humans although has not much reason to do so.
Maxi is a happy doggie who enjoys his newly found freedom and loves running around in the garden.
Maxi can be stubborn as it happens with Pekingese’ and needs some convincing to do what he’s expected to when his interest lies elsewhere.
Maxi is good around dogs, can be picky with bigger ones, a typical small dog syndrome. He is happy to socialize with smaller dogs and also compatible with cats.
Maxi would be best suited for an adult only home where he is not left alone for long periods of time. He could happily live with another friendly and well balanced dog and he can also live with cats.
As all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adopting family to become a happy, well-balanced dog. Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first time owners please.
Maxi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him.
Maxi comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee. Full RBU provided.
