A couple always wishes to have a big family, with beautiful children. 30, Tracy gave birth to her first child, Hunter, now 12, who was ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇᴅ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟʟʏ in October 2006. So, she was desperate for a second child but sᴛʀᴜɢɢʟᴇᴅ to ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟʟʏ.
Tracy and her husband Peter, 42, from New York due to their busy careers, were ɴᴏᴛ in any ʀᴜsʜ to have another child. 10 year later however, they both started to realize the clock was ticking and they were desperate to have another child to keep Hunter company. Life was good but the couple desperately wanted another child, they wishes to have a big family. However, after ᴛʀʏɪɴɢ for a year, they were told by their ᴅᴏᴄᴛᴏʀs that they ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅɴ’ᴛ ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟʟʏ and that ⒾⓋⒻ was their only option. They tried four times through ⒾⓋⒻ for a baby, but ɴᴏɴᴇ were successful, she decided to try sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴄʏ, through ᴀɴ ᴀɢᴇɴᴄʏ, to increase her chances.
A big surprise, she was delighted to discover that one of her ⒾⓋⒻ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛs worked and she was ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with her second child, Harlow, now 18 months, who was born in August 2017. Meanwhile, her sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴛᴇ was also ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with ɴᴏᴛ just one baby, but twins, which initially left Tracy and Peter overwhelmed, realizing they had to make room for their big family. What a joy to be multiplied. Tracy said :” It is an emotional roller coaster ᴛʀʏɪɴɢ to get ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ . When you do ⒾⓋⒻ, it is a month process then you wait for the results. You can only imagine the ᴅɪsᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ to learn that it did ɴᴏᴛ take, and you have to do another month of shots, ɴᴇᴇᴅʟᴇs and ɢɪᴠɪɴɢ ʙʟᴏᴏᴅ. For me, ɪɴsᴜʀᴀɴᴄᴇ helped a lot with ⒾⓋⒻ because it was clear I needed it. It is definitely depressing when you do ɴᴏᴛ get ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ , but I was so determined. I knew if this did ɴᴏᴛ take, I would explore other options like ᴀ sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴛᴇ.”
Tracy ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ with her youngest, ᴇɴᴅᴇᴅ ᴜᴘ being ᴅɪғғɪᴄᴜʟᴛ, as she had ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇɴᴛᴀ ᴀᴄᴄʀᴇᴛᴀ, ᴀ sᴇʀɪᴏᴜs ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ ᴄᴏɴᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ that ᴏᴄᴄᴜʀs when the ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇɴᴛᴀ ɢʀᴏᴡs ᴛᴏᴏ ᴅᴇᴇᴘʟʏ ɪɴᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴜᴛᴇʀɪɴᴇ ᴡᴀʟʟ, and needed ᴀ C-sᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ. She said :”My ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ ᴇɴᴅᴇᴅ ᴜᴘ going full term, I ʜᴇᴅɢᴇᴅ with a sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴛᴇ and she ɴᴏᴛ only went full term, but she had twins then I had a surprise ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟ ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ. We were super excited. Our dreams were coming true. We were in sʜᴏᴄᴋ with Dylan because I got ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ on ᴍʏ ᴏᴡɴ after using a sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴛᴇ and doing ⒾⓋⒻ. Also, we had four kids and three were babies under six months at home already. We were thrilled but realized very quickly life has to change, now we were out of room. The week we ғᴏᴜɴᴅ ᴏᴜᴛ we were having twins we started looking for a bigger apartment to fit all these kids. My last ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ was ᴠᴇʀʏ ᴅɪғғɪᴄᴜʟᴛ. I had ᴀ ᴄᴏɴᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ ᴄᴀʟʟ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇɴᴛᴀ ᴀᴄᴄʀᴇᴛᴀ. I needed ᴀ C-sᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ and ᴀ ғᴜʟʟ ʜʏsᴛᴇʀᴇᴄᴛᴏᴍʏ at birth. Dylan was born at twenty-nine weeks. He was a ᴘʀᴇᴇᴍɪᴇ at 3lb 6oz and Dylan was in the ɴᴇᴏɴᴀᴛᴀʟ ɪɴᴛᴇɴsɪᴠᴇ ᴄᴀʀᴇ ᴜɴɪᴛ for three months.”
Being a mother of 5 kids is ᴏᴠᴇʀᴡʜᴇʟᴍɪɴɢ and ᴏᴠᴇʀᴡʜᴇʟᴍɪɴɢ. But now Tracy feels happy and completely used to this. She feels fine, and is grateful to have been able to expand her family and welcome as many babies as they did. Now the couple want to encourage people ɴᴏᴛ to give up on their dreams to become parents and they share their journey with over 10,000 followers on Instagram. Tracy share:” I think people should ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ give up ᴛʀʏɪɴɢ to have a baby. We ᴇɴᴅᴇᴅ ᴜᴘ doing ⒾⓋⒻ four times, we were ɴᴏᴛ going to give up ᴛʀʏɪɴɢ to have a baby. I always loved being a mom. Tᴇᴄʜɴᴏʟᴏɢʏ is incredible but be open to ᴅɪғғᴇʀᴇɴᴛ ᴍᴇᴛʜᴏᴅs ʟɪᴋᴇ ⒾⓋⒻ, sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴄʏ, ᴀᴅᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴ, ғᴏsᴛᴇʀɪɴɢ ᴀ ᴄʜɪʟᴅ. These is ɴᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ like parenthood .”
