Mum Welcomes Five Children in Three Years, Including Two Sets of Twins, without IVF

Young Mum Embraces Hectic Household with Two Sets of Twins and Three More Children Under Five, Saying "It's Crazy, but I Love It"

Nadine Robertson, a 24-year-old woman from Doncaster, and her husband Phil experienced the joy of parenthood with the arrival of their daughter Isla in 2017. Their happiness multiplied when they welcomed twins Olivia and Ivy in 2018. Just 10 weeks ago, their family grew even larger with the arrival of Cody and Hazel. Remarkably, both sets of twins were conceived naturally, without the assistance of IVF, despite neither Nadine nor her husband having a family history of twins. Nadine candidly admitted to facing each day with a spontaneous approach, relying on hope that everyone will be in good spirits and lend a helping hand. Though it may be chaotic, she cherishes their unique journey of raising five children under five.

In their four-bedroom home, the children are divided into rooms, with each set of twins sharing one and Isla having a room to herself. Whenever Nadine goes out with both sets of twins, she often encounters strangers who stop her on the street and make comments. Nadine shared, "Every time I go out, people stop me on the street. Once they realize there are two babies in the pram and I have the other two little ones with me, they always comment on it." While she receives frequent remarks, Nadine doesn't find it unusual to have two sets of twins, as she has seen many similar stories shared on social media.

Nadine continued, "I don't find it unusual because I'm part of many twin mom Facebook groups where I see many people with two sets of twins. But I understand that for others, it may not be as common." The comments range from questions about their behavior to speculations about whether the kids are the result of IVF. I constantly receive such inquiries, mostly from older people, asking if I had IVF, even though I didn't. The first person who asked me when I had my first set caught me off guard. "It's strange because if you have one baby, no one would ever think of asking, 'Was it natural or did you have IVF?' But I get asked a lot, especially now with two sets. I know people are just curious."
