Homer was an abandoned dog that had been left on the side of a road on the island of Bali. He was an older dog and full of tumors, and it looked like he didn’t have long to live. However, his luck changed when a young man named Aaron found him while he was driving down the road.
Aaron tried to catch Homer, but the dog was too weak and scared to let himself get close. So Aaron called the Bali Animal Welfare Association team to rescue him. The team quickly arrived and managed to capture Homer .
Once at the shelter, Homer was examined by a vet and found to have several tumors on his body.

Over time, Homer began to improve. The tumors began to disappear and his general health improved significantly. After just three months, Homer was completely cured. Aaron was excited to see him recover and knew he had to find her a permanent home.

Helping stray and sick dogs is important for several reasons:
First, these dogs often live in precarious conditions and face a myriad of challenges to survive, including disease, hunger, and bad weather. By providing them with help, we can significantly improve their quality of life and increase their chances of survival.
Second, helping sick and stray dogs can also help control the population of these animals. By taking these dogs in and providing them with medical care, sterilization and adoption, we can help reduce the number of stray dogs and stop them from reproducing .
