Remarkable Irish Setter Gives Birth to a Whopping Litter of 15 Adorable Puppies

Poppy, an Irish Setter, delighted her 40-year-old owner Lisa from Galashiels, Scottish Borders, by giving birth to a magnificent litter of 15 adorable puppies! Lisa was astonished when she realized the number, as the record for an Irish Setter litter stands at 16 puppies. The little ones just kept coming, filling Lisa's heart with joy and amazement.

Lisa expressed her deep affection for Poppy, praising her kind-hearted nature and desiring to share the joy of having a dog like her with other families. The selflessness and love for her pet motivated Lisa to embark on this journey. She admired Poppy's beauty and wanted to spread the same positive traits to future dog owners.

To ensure Poppy's well-being during the birthing process, Lisa took time off from work. Both Lisa and her daughter, Abi, took turns caring for Poppy, providing comfort and reassurance throughout the birthing experience.

Fortunately, Lisa's daughter lovingly decided to adopt one of the puppies from the litter, ensuring that Poppy can maintain a cherished connection with at least one of her precious offspring. As for the remaining puppies, Lisa is committed to finding them suitable homes with caring owners. She wants to emphasize that her motivation lies not in monetary gain but rather in ensuring the well-being and happiness of the puppies.

Lisa admits that bidding farewell to the puppies will be a heart-wrenching experience for her. She confesses that she briefly entertained the thought of keeping them all, but humorously acknowledges that her husband might not be too thrilled with that idea.
