Heart-breaking pictures have emerged showing how a loyal dog guarded its dead friend and even attempted to wake it up on a busy road in China.
The brown husky that was lying in the middle of the road in Zhejiang Province was killed on April 17 by a passing vehicle.
The cream colored dog desperately pawed and mournfully barked at its dead friend till their own came to pick them up.
According to a report from Huanqui.com, a People’s Daily Online affiliate, the unfortunate tragedy happened in Nianli town of Quzhou city.
The husky was observed unmoving on the road for at least 30 minutes, While its cream-colored buddy stood guard over the body.
