Strategizing an Escape: How Can This Clever Dog Overcome Its Predicament
Arlo, who was rescued by his family when he was approximately one year old, continues to display the energy and enthusiasm of a young puppy even today.
According to Bryce LaDuc, Arlo's mother, she shared with The Dodo, "During his first year, Arlo was sadly confined to a doghouse with a tether. Now, he is making the most of his regained freedom by radiating charm and exuberance as a lively and charismatic youngster."
Going on adventures with his family is Arlo’s absolute favorite thing in the world. He enjoys hiking, swimming, and simply exploring the globe whenever he can, and he has a habit of putting himself into some ridiculous situations while doing so.
Arlo and his family were out exploring when they stumbled across a tree with a massive hole in it. They were staring down the hole, attempting to get a better look inside, when Arlo decided he had to get in on the action.
Without hesitation, he suddenly jumped up — and climbed right into the hole!
“We didn’t prompt him — he just wanted to see what we were looking at in there,” LaDuc said.
With delight, Arlo perched on the tree for a brief moment as his family captured precious moments through photographs. Content with his participation, he eventually hopped down, satisfied with his involvement in the activity. Luckily, the usual inhabitants of the tree hollow were absent that day; otherwise, Arlo's puppy-like energy and enthusiasm would have surely surprised them.
