Supercar Blondie Show Off The Alpine Alpenglow Hypercar Concept With Cosmic Dust Headlights..

The popular YouTuber looks at an Alpine supercar with headlights that might be the future of automotive design.

Believe it or not, headlights can be exciting. The craze over pop-up headlights in the 1980s and 1990s certainly prove that, as they defined many of the sports cars of the era. Every year, car companies are trying to come up with the next big thing that will spark hype in car buyers and the wider culture alike.

In a new video from Supercar Blondie, she looks at an Alpine hypercar that might be the future of automotive design. The Alpine Alpenglow is the newest supercar concept that will inspire the future of the Formula 1 team from the French company and it sports some unique features too. Read on to see what makes the hydrogen car so special.

Next-Generation Features Of The New Alpine Alpenglow

The new Alpine Alpenglow features a super futuristic design with angles everywhere, a clear wing, and huge blue-glowing, elongated taillights. The headlights are the world’s first “cosmic dust” headlights which make the car look like nothing else. It seems the company, owned by Renault, has pulled out all the stops for this car.

The one-seater car puts the driver in the middle of the ultra-low race car, kind of like the iconic McLaren F1. The custom wheels are also like nothing else, which look forged from ice and snow. The aerodynamics are also adjustable, like DRS in an F1 car. To make it look even sleeker, the car has cameras for mirrors and an onboard lap recording system.

The car’s looks speak for itself. As far as the video goes, the only thing known about the powertrain is that it’s a next-generation hydrogen system. Beyond that, there are no other details. The plan for Alpine with the Alpenglow is to herald in a new era in the company and spark hype for the rebranded F1 team. With this analysis, it merits comparisons to the F1-inspired, Mercedes-AMG One.

The Mercedes-AMG One is a bona fide hypercar. Recently, it became the fastest road car to ever lap Monza at 1:43.902 seconds. It also features a Formula 1-derived 1.6-liter V6 turbo paired with electric motors to produce 1,063 horsepower. All this means that the Alpine would have to deliver over 1,000 horsepower to be a competitor for the AMG-One.
