Ryan Fant stumbled discovered an attractive Golden Retriever that was running around the park without a collar while on a tour of a park in Little Rock, Arkansas (USA). He approached her and lavished her with attention, and when he spotted her following him home, he decided to take her in and christened her Lily Mae. His amazement was compounded when he learned that his rescued dog was expecting a child.
Ryan searched for the family of the gorgeous puppy for a month without success. So he decided to adopt her and make her a permanent member of his family. Soon after, he discovered that his new pet’s tummy was expanding quickly, and a vet verified that Lily Mae was expecting pups.
Caitie chose to herald the puppies’ arrival in the kindest manner possible, with a pregnancy photoshoot, with the due date only a few days away.
The woman continued, excitedly:
“I’ve raised a lot of pregnant female dogs and new mums, and I’ve always wanted to conduct a photoshoot to draw attention to the world’s foster and rescue dogs,” she says. I believe it is critical to spread the word that diverse sorts of canines can be found in a rescue facility.
Shauna Kiely, a photographer and rescue partner, was immediately contacted. The two women agreed, and the next day they had the cutest maternity session, with Lily Mae ecstatic to be the center of attention and get so much love.
The photo shoot was only 30 minutes long. Lily Mae was having a terrific time, according to Caitie, and she was acting like a professional model.
Mae went into labor a few days later and gave birth to eight healthy puppies, seven boys and one small female. Caitie’s care had also kept the new mother in great form.
Caitie explains:
“They’re large infants, weighing almost a pound apiece.” They are in excellent health and are quite active. Mom embraces and loves them all, but she also trusts me to look after them all. He allows me to change his bedding, but if I wait too long, he will begin to replace it.
They will be available for adoption through the Chip N Snip rescue facility in Houston, Texas, when they are a bit older and can feed themselves. Lily Mae will be free to return to Arkansas with her father Ryan after this; she has been doing an excellent job as a loving mother thus far.
