While feeding stray animals in a nearby village, two volunteers from Diasozo Animal Rescue (DAR) came across a distressing situation. They found an injured animal lying on the grass, begging for help.

Upon their approach, they spotted a dog that appeared to be in significant distress. The sight of the injuries inflicted upon the innocent animal was truly devastating. The dog could barely move, and upon closer inspection, one of the rescuers discovered that one of her eyes had been intentionally removed. It is beyond comprehension how anyone could commit such a heinous act towards an innocent creature. People with a kind heart are naturally drawn to animals, making this incident all the more heartbreaking.

The dog, who appeared to be in a state of semi-consciousness, was placed onto the truck by the rescuer. In the accompanying video, the rescuer revealed her concerns about the dog’s deteriorating eye condition. The act of abandoning a vulnerable animal in such a helpless state is simply incomprehensible.

The dog’s eye looked droopy and the tissue around it was deteriorating, leaving no hope for recovery. The veterinarian discovered an old jaw fracture and a tightly wrapped rope around the dog’s chest, indicating that this injury was not accidental but intentionally inflicted. It was clear that someone had purposefully harmed this poor animal.

The subsequent measure was to perform a procedure on her eye, yet she lacked the strength to endure it. The vet administered an ample amount of painkillers to allow her to finally rest. Her goal at present was to sleep for as long as possible to restore her energy.

The young girl was too weak to eat or drink without assistance, but the veterinary team was happy to help her out. After a few days, she had gained some strength and was prepared for surgery. The vet successfully removed her eye and cleaned the area around it, and she was expected to make a full recovery as her eye socket healed. What a courageous girl!

After the operation, she slept for several days, but then something amazing happened: she got up! She was a true warrior and expressed her gratitude to those who had assisted her. Soon after, she was ready to go to a rehabilitation center and later on, a foster home. By the way, check out this adorable puppy!

The cute little kid received medical care at the clinic and experienced a remarkable turnaround. This was because she was showered with affection and care, which accelerated her recovery beyond expectations. Consequently, the possibility of her being adopted arose. Soon enough, an amazing family came across her story and expressed interest in adopting her. They affectionately named her “Honey.”

Honey has undergone a transformation, including a change of name, and is thriving. We want to thank DAR for their incredible efforts that have saved Honey’s life. We are forever grateful!
