A similar situation unfolded when volunteers discovered a puppy in deplorable conditions on the streets of Pisco, Peru. The puppy bore clear signs of abuse and neglect, suffering from various injuries and illnesses.

Exhausted and unwilling to endure further hardship, the unfortunate animal had reached a point where it no longer had the strength to fight.
“His condition was critical, and his rescue was difficult; we had to win his confidence.” He was terrified, which was understandable when people tossed him from all sides for asking for food or being appalled by his appearance.”
It is truly unfortunate that there are people who possess hearts as cold as stone. It is a lamentable state for their souls to harbor such a dreadful sense of disgust.
