Laurie is a teacher for children with special needs (disabled children) and lives in Tampa, Florida. One day after visiting the house of one of her students, she went outside and went to her car when she saw this little dirty kitten.
There were no other kittens and an adult cat near the kitten, and the kitten immediately ran after the woman. Lori could not stand it and took him with her.
“She was so small that I understood that without outside help she could die of hunger. I took her and brought her to my home. It turned out that she was very dirty, covered with fleas and she had a very strange muzzle.”
The kitten, whose name was Laurie Willow, had an unusual nose, or rather, he practically did not have a cat’s nose, in its place there was a piece of fur, on the sides of which there were small nostrils.
The vet examined the kitten and said it was a chromosomal abnormality. In addition, the kitten, who appeared to be about 5 weeks old, had crooked teeth. According to the veterinarian, if Laurie takes the kitten to a shelter, it will most likely be euthanized there, as “no one wants to take unsympathetic kittens.”
After these words, Laurie realized that she would forever leave the kitten with her, and in addition she said that “in her eyes, Willow was very beautiful.”
Lori’s dog Ella already lived at home. At first, Lori was afraid to introduce the kitten and the dog closely, but it turned out that in vain. Willow and Ella quickly became friends.
“Ella was incredibly gentle with her and they fell in love at first sight. I think Willow thought Ella was just a big cat.”
Ella was also very patient. Willow grew up and became more and more playful and active, but the dog endured all the “torment” with a serene look. Willow and Ella even slept together.
Willow is now 18 months old. Just look how big she has become, and her face has become even more strange and at the same time attractive.
Despite the unsightly nose and crooked teeth, Laurie considers her cat to be perfect.
Willow not only grew up, she gained a very good weight of 7 kilograms. Most likely, the blood of thoroughbred large cats flows in her genes.
And Willow is still very closely attached to the dog Ella.
