Wyley Simpson, a 28-year-old individual living in Texas with their fiancé, Stephen Gaeth, began transitioning from female to male at the age of 21. Despite undergoing testosterone therapy and being told by doctors that they couldn't become pregnant as their periods had stopped, the couple discovered Wyley's pregnancy in February 2018.

Although they initially felt unprepared for parenthood, Wyley decided to carry on with the pregnancy while facing daily abuse and judgment from strangers. In September 2018, Wyley gave birth to their son, Rowan, weighing 7lb 5oz, via emergency C-section. Despite the challenges and criticism, they believe all the comments were worthwhile, but they wouldn't choose to go through the pregnancy again.

The couple recently celebrated their son reaching the six-month mark and have shared insights into their experiences of pregnant life and parenthood.

At the age of 21, Wyley Simpson began transitioning from female to male through testosterone therapy. However, despite the treatment, Wyley and their partner discovered the unexpected news of the pregnancy in February 2018.

Having retained their vagina and female reproductive organs, Wyley gave birth via caesarean section six months ago, following an emotionally taxing pregnancy. Reflecting on the experience, Wyley mentioned that encountering abuse was not uncommon due to the unusual sight of a pregnant man. People would belittle him, stating that he could never be a man and that men don't carry babies. Additionally, they were often referred to as "it."

Before the pregnancy, Wyley had already undergone surgery to remove their female breasts, making breastfeeding impossible. Despite this, Wyley intends to complete their full transition in the futurePictured: Wyley Simpson, with his fiance Stephan Gaeth, both 28, and their newborn son Rowan, who Wyley delivered via emergency c-section

Wyley is seen growing up as a girl named Whitney during his childhood, before he started transitioning aged 20, taking testosterone and having his breasts removed

Wyley's journey began as a girl named Whitney during childhood, but at the age of 20, he decided to transition to male. He started taking testosterone in 2012 and underwent top surgery (breast removal) in 2013. However, Wyley has not yet undergone bottom surgery, which involves the creation of a penis.

Wyley and his fiancé, Stephan, had questioned whether he could get pregnant, but they believed that it was unlikely because he was taking testosterone. In a previous interview with KENS5, Wyley revealed that he hadn't experienced a menstrual cycle "in years" when he met Stephan. They had discussions about testosterone and the information provided by doctors, both believing that pregnancy was not a possibility. However, it turned out to be untrue.

The surprise came when Wyley found out he was pregnant at 11 weeks, struggling with morning sickness. Emotions ran high, and he felt nervous and overwhelmed, not knowing what to do in this unexpected situation.

In 2012, Wyley Simpson started taking testosterone, leading to the cessation of their periods and being informed that they couldn't get pregnant. However, to their surprise, Wyley discovered their pregnancy later on.

Reflecting on the journey that followed, Wyley expressed mixed emotions. They were worried, as it was their first pregnancy, and also nervous due to the stigma surrounding being a pregnant man. Dealing with rude comments from others took an emotional toll on Wyley during the pregnancy. The physical baby bump, a symbol of femininity, posed a challenge, given their transition process since the age of 21. Nevertheless, the experience was entirely worth it to have their son, Rowan, and become a father, and Wyley wouldn't change a thing about it.

Though grateful for the opportunity to carry their own child, Wyley admits that they truly felt comfortable embracing fatherhood only after Rowan was born. After giving birth and resuming hormone therapy, they settled into family life, and the disappearance of the physical baby bump and hormone adjustments brought a sense of contentment and well-being.

Wyley's journey has been a complex and transformative one, leading to the joy of parenthood and finding happiness in their role as a father.

Wyley, seen posing with his baby bump at eight months pregnant, already had surgery to remove his female breasts meaning he could not breastfeed, intends to make the full transition in the future.
