2 Pit Bulls, Louie and Bridget, desperately clung to one another when left at the shelter. They remained carefully huddled together as if moving apart would just make things worse.
Their picture captured the attention of a couple that drove straight there to foster them.

The dogs’ owner dropped them off with no details or an explanation of why he was giving them up.

But that didn’t matter! The couple gladly took them home, recognizing they deserved a 2nd chance. Once in the car, Louie hid below Bridget and shook uncontrollably. Bridget was his guard and stood tall over him to make him feel safe.

The dogs really did not know how to act inside a home. The couple decided to crate-train them so they could acclimate. Louie didn’t wish to be without Bridget in a separate cage, so the couple placed them with each other. As they slowly adjusted, they were introduced to the rest of the pack. That’s when their real colors emerged and it was a lovely sight to see!

Even though the dogs adjusted, they were still insistent on being with one another in every possible way. Where there was one, there was the other.

Their bond never wavered. It was obvious that both required to stay together, but locating a forever home for 2 dogs is usually difficult. Did Louie and Bridget find their happily ever after? Check out their full story below!
