A friendly dog named Mr. Snufflufugus was recently found running around the outskirts of Copperas Cove, Texas, scared and alone. Fortunately, local animal control personnel were able to retrieve him and bring him back to safety at Copperas Cove Animal Control. There, the American bulldog mix showed his gratitude by snuggling up to animal control supervisor Tamara Hall. Another staff member named Victoria Watkins-Killebrew captured the heartwarming moment in a photo. According to Hall, Mr. Snufflufugus enjoys visits from everyone, but she is his favorite person and receives extra-special hugs and kisses from him.
Encounters like this are quite common with Mr. Snufflufugus, who has gained a reputation at the shelter for his love of affection. According to Hall, he is definitely a cuddle bug. Whenever you’re sitting on the floor or ground, he’ll make sure to catch your attention by climbing onto your lap or snuggling up beside you. He’s got a way of using his sweet, irresistible eyes to look up at you and ask for attention.
When Mr. Snufflufugus is not busy snuggling with his buddies, he likes to take short strolls around his locality, but his primary pastime is, without a doubt, utter relaxation. According to Hall, he enjoys brief walks but is more of a couch potato kind of dog.
Following the viral photo of Mr. Snufflufugus hugging Hall, Copperas Cove Animal Control has been inundated with adoption applications for the lovable pooch. However, due to limited resources at the small shelter, they are in the process of transferring Mr. Snufflufugus to a larger rescue organization that can better accommodate the high demand. In the meantime, the adorable pup is happily spending time with his furry friends at Copperas Cove while learning valuable lessons from their dedicated volunteers. With his big heart and affectionate nature, Mr. Snufflufugus can’t wait to meet his perfect match and share his love with them through plenty of hugs.
